MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) Classes for Adults
Our adult MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) classes combine striking, wrestling, and grappling into a complete combat sports program. Training is delivered by experienced coaches in a structured, safety-focused environment designed for long-term development.
What Are Our MMA Classes
Our MMA classes focus on integrating multiple martial arts disciplines into a unified system. Training blends stand-up striking, clinch and wall work, takedowns, and ground fighting under MMA-specific rules and scenarios.
Rather than rushing students into mixing everything from day one, our approach emphasises technical foundations first, allowing skills from individual disciplines to be applied effectively and safely in MMA training.
MMA training develops coordination, timing, conditioning, and decision-making across all ranges of combat.
Adult MMA Classes
Our adult MMA classes are open to practitioners of all experience levels and delivered through structured, coach-led group sessions. Training includes technical drills, positional work, controlled sparring, and scenario-based rounds focused on skill development rather than unnecessary intensity.
New students typically begin through our Grappling Initiation class, which introduces essential movement, wrestling, and ground control concepts before progressing into full MMA training.
Women / Beginner Friendly
Our MMA program is beginner-friendly and open to both men and women. Classes are structured so new students can learn at a safe and comfortable pace while training alongside more experienced practitioners under close coaching supervision.
Safety, respect, and technical progression are prioritised at all times. No previous MMA experience is required to start.
MMA Training Foundations
Effective MMA training is built on strong fundamentals.
We encourage students to develop a solid base in disciplines such as Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Wrestling, Boxing, Muay Thai, Kickboxing, or No-Gi grappling before fully blending those skills in MMA. This foundation-first approach leads to better technique, reduced injury risk, and faster long-term progress.
Students interested in specific aspects of MMA can explore our in-depth training resources on:
MMA stand-up striking
MMA ground fighting
MMA takedowns
MMA wall work
MMA Classes for Kids
We do not offer MMA-specific classes for children.
Instead, younger students are encouraged to build strong foundations through age-appropriate martial arts programs such as Wrestling, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Boxing, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, and No-Gi grappling. This creates the ideal physical and technical base before transitioning into MMA training later as adults.
