Monarchy provides you with the option to train in both group classes and in private/personal one-on-one sessions with our experienced martial art experts instructors.
Monarchy provides you with the option to train in both group classes and in private/personal one-on-one sessions with our experienced martial art experts instructors.
Private/personal classes provide you the opportunity to train one-on-one with the same instructors that teach our group classes. These private classes are provided for Boxing, Muay Thai, Kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, NO-GI, Wrestling, MMA, self defence as well as strength and conditioning in our newly installed weight lifting / performance area.
The benefits of Monarchy’s Private Training include:
- The freedom to customise your schedule time and location wise between our 3 locations branches in Kuala Lumpur.
- The option to personalise your classes to your preferred intensity and also tailor the session to your preference in terms of the ratio of the class spent on the mats for martial arts and in the weight lifting / performance area for strength training.
- The choice to alternate your classes with different instructors specialised in different disciplines within the same private class package.
- The ability for you to refine techniques that were learned in group classes.
Because of different body types, techniques can be hard to execute for some but not others. 1 to 1 training provides you the opportunity to work with the instructors to make adjustments that make it easier to execute techniques that might otherwise be difficult due to flexibility, size, or strength. - Some beginners are reluctant to join classes that include experienced students.
- Private lessons is a great way for you to build up a base skill level in a personal setting to make it more comfortable to later join in group classes.
- Most of our programs include belt and ranking systems. Personal classes provide a means to accelerate promotions thru those ranking systems.
- Many of our students decide to join competitions. Private classes can and is often used to prepare you if you wish to compete especially if you have specific weaknesses that you wish to improve.

While progress in our stand-up striking programs such as Boxing, Kickboxing and Muay Thai, can mostly rely on pad and mitt work in a 1-on-1 set up, our view on the optimal way to progress in our grappling oriented martial arts programs we offer such as Brazilian jiu-jitsu, MMA, NO-GI & Wrestling, is to use a combination of group classes and private/personal classes because of the importance of engaging into live rolling with students from different level, size and body type during the group class sessions.
To be more specific in regards to privates in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, NO-GI & Wrestling, a 1-on-2 private class set up can have more advantage to properly show the technique to the other.
